It is not every day that one stumbles upon a part of a country that can only be described with words such as breathtaking, incredible and inspiring. The seventh Edinburgh Treefest and Woodmarket is set to take place on the 14th and 15th of June 2008. This popular free-admission event, which is held at Inverleith Park, Arboretum Place, Edinburgh, promises plenty of enjoyment for the entire family. The two-day Scottish festival features interactive crafts, displays and stalls, as well as demonstrations of horse logging, tree climbing, axe throwing and extreme mountain biking. Visitors can join in the games and enjoy the live music and entertainment, while feasting on a variety of tasty traditional, and not-so-traditional, treats and refreshments.
